GreenGeeks will start offering green VPS web hosting. The new green VPS hosting will be powered by 300% wind energy. GreenGeeks will do this by purchasing three times the wind energy credits.
Their new green VPS plans with start at just under $20 per month and come with 384 MB of ram. GreenGeeks does offer additional VPS plans with more RAM for an additional cost.
The server that will host the VPS with feature the new Dual Quad Core Xeon Nehalam processors by Intel. The servers will also include 24 GB of DDR3 RAM along with RAID 10 storage arrays.
Users will be able to control their VPS with a control panel. This will come with OS re-installs and reboots.
